Christopher Maher is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OceanFirst Financial Corp. and OceanFirst Bank N.A. and has lead the Company in this capacity since 2017. Chris joined the Bank as President and Chief Operating Officer in 2013. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2014. Chris is also President of OceanFirst Financial Corp. and Chairman of the Board for OceanFirst Foundation.

Prior to joining OceanFirst, Chris served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Patriot National Bancorp. Previously he was Executive Vice President of Dime Savings Bank of Williamsburg; Senior Vice President Information Services of BISYS; and Managing Director Banking Strategy of Fidelity National Information Services.

Chris has leadership positions with several non-profit and industry organizations, including:

• Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, director
• Helen Keller Services for the Blind, trustee and former chairman
• Hackensack Meridian Residential Care, director
• Monmouth University Board of Trustees, trustee and treasurer
• New Jersey Bankers Association, director and first vice chair

He attended Franklin and Marshall College and Upsala College as well as the University of Virginia Graduate School of Banking.

Joseph Lebel is President and Chief Operating Officer of OceanFirst Bank N.A. and has lead the Bank in this role since January 2021. Most recently, Joe was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and has also served in leadership positions, including the Chief Banking Officer and Chief Lending Officer. Joe joined OceanFirst in 2006 as Senior Vice President in charge of Commercial Lending. Joe is a member of the Board of Directors of OceanFirst Bank.

Prior to joining OceanFirst, Joe was a Senior Vice President Wachovia Bank N.A. (currently Wells Fargo and formerly, First Fidelity and First Union National Bank) spending 22 years in various leadership and sales roles in the central New Jersey market for the bank.

Joe has leadership positions with several non-profit and chamber organizations, including:

• New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, director
• Fulfill (formerly FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean counties), trustee
• Community Medical Center Foundation, trustee

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Mount St. Mary’s University and attended the Graduate Commercial Banking School at the University of Oklahoma.

George Destafney is the l President of Central and Northern New Jersey Region at OceanFirst Bank N.A. He is responsible for growth in the Bank’s legacy New Jersey markets along with the expansion in northern New Jersey. George joined OceanFirst in 2013 as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Team Leader.

Prior to joining OceanFirst Bank, George had an 18-year tenure at TD Bank (originally Commerce Bank). As a Regional President, he directed all commercial, retail branch and operational activities in the Monmouth County market. He held several positions while with TD Bank with growing responsibility including launching a new market for the company in Long Island before returning to New Jersey as a Regional President.

George has leadership roles with community and industry organizations, including:

• Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation, trustee
• St. John Vianney High School, advisory board
• American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking, board member

He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Monmouth University and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking including Wharton Leadership Certification.

Anthony Giordano is Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer at OceanFirst Bank N.A. He joined OceanFirst Bank in 2015 upon completion of the Bank’s acquisition of Colonial American Bank where Anthony served as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining OceanFirst Bank, in addition to serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Colonial American Bank for almost five years, Anthony served as Senior Vice President and CFO at Central Jersey Bank. Previously he was an officer at PNC Bank and began his career at Shadow Lawn Savings Bank.

Anthony has held community organization leadership roles, including:

• City of Long Branch, former councilman and chair of the redevelopment committee
• Kean University Foundation, treasurer and former chair of the investment committee
• United Way of Monmouth County, former board member and treasurer
• Rotary Club of Long Branch, former president

Anthony has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Kean University and a master’s in Business Administration from Monmouth University. He graduated from the Real Estate Institute at Monmouth University and received an executive certificate in leadership and management from the University of Notre Dame.

Jill Hewitt is the Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications and has held this position since the role was created at OceanFirst in 2016. Jill joined OceanFirst Bank in 1996 as the Director of Marketing.

Prior to joining OceanFirst, Jill was an assistant vice president in the Marketing department at Summit Bank (currently Bank of America and formerly Fleet) leading the initiative to launch the first website for customers and managing customer notifications regarding consolidations and acquisitions.

Jill has held leadership positions in community organizations, including:

• Monmouth Ocean Development Council (MODC), past president
• MS Society, past board member
• Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Villanova University and attended the Bank Marketing Association School of Bank Marketing.

Angela Ho is Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at OceanFirst Bank N.A. and has held this position since joining the Bank in 2016.

Prior to joining OceanFirst Bank, Angela was Vice President and Controller of Northfield Bank. Previously, she was Accounting Policy Manager at Signature Bank and a Senior Associate at KPMG LLP.

Angela is actively involved in community and industry organizations, including:

• Retail Opportunity Investment Corp., board member
• American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
• New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, Monmouth County task force

She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master’s in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jeana Piscatelli joined OceanFirst Bank N.A. as Senior Vice President and Director of Treasury Management in 2018. She is leading the strategic growth of the corporate treasury management team and expansion of the products and services.

Prior to joining OceanFirst Ban, Jeana served as Executive Director of the Financial Institutions Group at J.P. Morgan Chase. Previously, she was Director of Institutional Foreign Exchange and Sales and held various positions with increasing responsibility at Wells Fargo.

Jeana serves in leadership positions in the community and industry organizations, including:

• Monmouth University, chairperson board of trustees
• Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), board member

She has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance from Monmouth University and a master’s in Business Administration from Monmouth University.

Rebecca Rothstein is Senior Vice President and Director of Digital Banking at OceanFirst Bank N.A. She joined OceanFirst Bank in 2017 as the Chief Experience Officer.

She is an innovator a customer experience advocate and digital transformation enabler who has held leadership roles at various companies, including, Managing Consultant at Capegemini; Director of User Experience at TandemSeven (currently Rightpoint); founder of Bullseye Research & Design; and Vice President and Customer Experience Program Manager at JP Morgan Chase.

Rebecca is committed to helping others and donated her time to:

• Swimming to Help, board member

She has a Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College and an MPS from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program.

Susanne Svizeny joined OceanFirst Bank N.A. as the President of the Greater Philadelphia Region in 2019. Susanne is responsible for leading the Bank’s expansion in Pennsylvania and western New Jersey.

Prior to joining OceanFirst, Susanne was Executive Vice President and Division Manager of Commercial Banking at Wells Fargo N.A. where she lead a team managing a portfolio of more than 700 relationships.

Susanne is actively involved in the community, including:

• The College of New Jersey, chair board of trustees
• Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, director and executive committee member
• CEO Council for Growth, director

Susanne has a Bachelor’s degree from The College of New Jersey.
